IM sp2.1 and SQL 2000 sp3a install error

IM sp2.1 and SQL 2000 sp3a install error

I'm trying to install IM sp2.1 on a XPsp1 machine and having the database on our SQL 2000 sp3a server.
But insight manager keeps telling me that I have to update the service pack on the SQL server.
Now, I want to run the latest in service packs so...
Have anyone else any experience from this?

You might also want to make sure you have the latest MDAC installed. You can get that from www.microsoft.com/odbc.

hello -

That's a normal requirement for Windows 2003 server and windows XP. You must update SQL2000 to Sp3.

Hi,

Ive got the latest MDAC from MS and its SP3a on the SQL server, still the same problem.
Now I'm using a desktop enginge but would really like to get contact with the SQL server.
