Linux SNMP config?

Hi everyone,
Im trying to manage about 200 Linux machines using CIM7 and SIM4 consoles running on windows, anyone know of a doc or something out there that would indicate how SNMP would need to be configured as far as traps and communities or whatnot?
I have made some changes but I dont see the system management link (using SNMP) for any of my Linux machines. I recieve traps but dont see these links (im not using the webagents).
Any help would be great!!
