Low Disk Space notifications

Can CIM7 be set up to send alerts on low disk space? Currently, we have it sending alerts on reboots, lost NIC connectivity -- the defaults. Not sure how to add a new event / notification. Thanks!

Use Devices --> Tasks --> Control Tasks --> Set Disk Thresholds to set the levels you want and broadcast them to any set or subset of your servers by using a query that describes them. That will get the agents sending a trap when the threshold is exceeded. There are levels for both warning and critical.

Once that is set, IM7 will get a trap; use a similar process to what you've used before to determine what notification you want IM7 to do...

How often should this control task run? What else needs to be done to have an email/pager notification task run when the event occurs?

Hi guys,
I am trying to set up E-mail notification for some SNMP TRAP events such as High Temp, Disk Failure, Tape Cleaning, Nic Connectivity lost, to notify each Admin for his servers only.

SNMP TRAP destination is setup. I am receiving trap myself for all the servers but whenever I setup an E-mail group it doesn't work.

Any idea. Your help is appreciated.
