Netware NLM Traps
CIM 7.23 gets hundreds of traps (System: NLM loaded /System: NLM unloaded) from a Netware Server(6.50) with Management Agents 7.00.
Trap Description:
An NLM has been (un)loaded.
Trap Details:
nothing
Can I find out, which NLM has been loaded/unloaded?
Thanks

Re: Netware NLM Traps
I haven't been able to get it to tell me which NLMs have been loaded / unloaded, but I have found a way to turn off the individual traps themseleves.
Edit the SYS:\SYSTEM\NMA\NWTRAP.CFG file and put in the following line, close to the ENABLE ALL line.
Disable 218-219,225-226,230
This disables the trap id's that are annoying (by my definition) including the NLM loaded / unloaded. The NWTRAP.CFG file lists the individual trap id's lower in the file so you can see which ones they are.
After editing the file issue the following command at the console prompt to initiate the changes:
NWTRAP READ_CFG
That forces the NWTRAP.NLM to re-read it's config file.

Re: Netware NLM Traps
When and by what method is the following file created?
sys:system\nma\nwtrap.cfg
I am trying to set up servers outside of my IM servers subnet to send it traps as we do not allow ping over our routers. I added the IM servers address to sys:etc\traptarg.cfg but do not know how to activate it!
Thanks!
