Reporting on historical Data

I have been capturing historical data and want to report on it using a new report, but there are no options to select fields.
How can you report on historical data?

Write your own SQL Queries at this point.
There's a document on Writing your own reports that gives details of the tables etc.

You can also use excel, you'll need ODBC to connect to the IM Database.

If you have Insight Manager SP1 or preferably SP2, there is a built-in reporting engine so you don't have to have any SQL query knowledge at all.
Make your life easier and upgrade to SP2.
