Snmp queries
Trying to monitor smart array status, power supply status, etc. I would like to do this via snmp. I have insight manager 7 running, which works great, but cannot query this information via snmp.
SNMP is running, and answers general requests, such as system contact name, other misc. But nothing related to the raid array, or other parts of the MIB's which were recently updated with the MIB update kit. (wasn't working before the update either)
Is there anything I need to do to allow the Insight Manager data to be queried via snmp?

Re: Snmp queries
You could try getif on the system and see if you get that to work. This way you can remove any in between application problems from IM 7 or SQL.

Re: Snmp queries
Brian,
If you use a mib browser and query these mibs do you get a value? If yes then CIM should get the data but if you don't get a value through the mib browser itself then either this device doesn't support this mib or you could try reloading/restarting the mib agent on the system.
Cheers,
NJ

Re: Snmp queries
I've tried running the browser GetIF, but it doesn't return the value. Or any other insight manager related value... Just standard Windows stuff.
Which I'm guessing brings me back to Insight Manager snmp agent, how can I check it? As far as I can tell the services are running, and CIM's web interface gives me up to date information..
