System Model: NULL - SysDown Service will NOT start
My Proliant System Shutdown Service will NOT start.
Running W2K3 with 7.30 agents on an old ML370 G1.
By having this service NOT start I think it is leading to the NULL system (I followed advice found in http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=926761 and no luck).
When looking in Device Manager - System Device the Advanced Sys Mgmt Controller DOES have a yellow icon but when you look at the driver properties it shows the sysdown.exe as one of the components so I believe it is the fact that the sysdown.exe service IS NOT starting that is causing the system NULL info.
I've tried re-installing the 7.3 PSP but that did not resolve the problem.
Any thoughts, ideas, comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
