VCA
I have a Doamin with over 250 servers in all Proliant servr, ranging from Proliant 800, Proliant 1600, DL320, DL380, ML530 etc. about 20 and are configured correctly of the other 230 they require the VCA updating,or the configuration changing(HTTP password) is there a batch process for doing this, or do I have to push it out via the HP RDU individually.

Re: VCA
These can be changed via a Group Configuration Task.
Not sure what you mean by the VCA needs updating, I would not recommend just updating the VCA or even just the IM Agents. The recommended practise is to update the entire softpaq as it's a tested bundle.
One gotcha, I don't think you can update the reference softpaq from a group config task

Re: VCA
You could D/L the PSP and configure the agents (Management, Version, and Survey), don't forget to set the trust type. Then use the setupc.exe in a batch program to update multiple servers (see notes on how to use the switches). SIM has the ability to push the PSP (basically using the setupc). If you install SIM on the same server as IM7 it will wipe it out...so you need to wait for SIM 4.1 to upgrade IM7.
