ILO2 and BMC !

tell me the difference between similar and BMC (baseboard management controller) and ILO2, a material to compare the two concepts are not raised.

From what I am aware of an ILO2 interface can do everything a BMC can do and more ...eg KVM

And you are able to talk to it with IPMI interfacing.

For some of the 100 series servers there is a "Lights Out 100" option, which has more limited functionality. The LO100 is a traditional IPMI BMC, and does not share hardware or firmware with iLO.
