						Hi All,
Does setting up LDAP over SSL on a DC stop LDAP without SSL from working, or will both work happily together?
Regards,
Andrew

						Hi Andrew,
These documents might help you configuring the LDAP over SSL:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/321051
http://www.sun.com:80/blueprints/0602/816-5203-10.pdf
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/wpdoc/v510/index.jsp?topic=/com.ibm.wp.ent.doc/wpf/cfg_ldap_ssl.html
Hope this works!!!!!
Regards,
rmn

LDAP can work with SSL and without.
The difference is in the TCP port assignments (like http: 80 and https: 443)
389: LDAP default port
636: LDAP SSL-port
Whether the domain controller accepts non-SSL connections is separate from whether SSL is accepted or not.
