Re: Accesing through IE browser
Connect using (from your example) https://managementpc2.ttgroup.int:50000 That's the entry point to hpSIM and it will establish a session ID for that particular session and provide it automatically.

Re: Accesing through IE browser
I am investigating the same problem.
On my Management WS i can login correctly.
When i am on a VPN connection to the office it does not work, i get the same message. Network connection is not a problem because everything is working fine (except..). I can use terminal server etc.
When i am on the office again (tuesday)i can use both the VPN and direct connection to solve the issue.
Cheers Peter

Re: Accesing through IE browser
Try clearing the Java Caches, they survivie reboots etc. They can cause lingering odd behaviour.
Accessible either via right clicking the Java Icon or going via Control Panel.
Also, what version of the JRE are you running. I've updated to 1.4.2_04 and that works fine.

Re: Accesing through IE browser
From a Browser session on your Workstation you should be able to browse to:
https://HPSIMServer:50000
What happens next?
Jason,
You may want to open a new thread, adding me too's to the bottmo of threads like this doesn't always get the best of results. Again clearly define what you're doing, what you see and include versions of OS, HPSIM, IM Agents etc.

Re: Accesing through IE browser
So I added the dns appendix to the list in my vpn connection's network settings and I tried again: successfully.
I hope this helps, maby it's related in your case to another dns problem
