Adding a new system type to system properties ?

Hi,

Is it possible to add a new system type to system properties ?

We have some network equipment that don't really fall into the switch or router box ?

Hello Joe,

You could try to add a new System Type. In Hp SIM choose Options> Manage System Types in the menu and click new.

Try to use the SNMP discovery to connect to the object you want to add. It would be handy to know more about the SNMP/mib info of the object.
