adding nodes to be discovered
A newbie to SIM here. What I am working with is HP-SIM 4.2 with SP1 on a WinBlows 2000 platform. (NOTE, I don't do windows!)
Working on the initial setup and wanting to get some managed systems. The systems I am looking to manage are HPUX 11.x and RH Linux systems.
I am stumped at the point of "on the CMS, copy the SSH generated public keys from CMS to the managed system". For me this would be from the W2K to the HPUX.
So, where are the SSH keys on a W2K system?
Thanks

Re: adding nodes to be discovered
OK, I am getting somewhere.
Found the public generated key for the Administrator on the W2K system. I copied that over to the HPUX 11.23 system for the root user. Placed into the file /home/root/.ssh/authorized_keys. Changed the Administrator to root. Still does not allow me to ssh to the HPUX system without a passwd - like the SIM would require.
What else am I missing?
