Anyone using SQL 2008 with SIM?

I know it is not officially supported, but it seems to work. I installed SIM 5.2 on a Windows 2008 server with SQL 2008 and it appears to work just fine; I was just curious, so I tried it out in my spare time. But I am wondering what is lurking in the shadows by using an unsupported DB...

Any word on when SQL 2008 will be officially supported?

The only thing I can think of is that if you run into issues and try and log an official call on HPSIM then you're not going to get much help.
But a database should be a database - probably not too much difference in behaviour between SQL 2005 & 2008.
