Automatic Event Handler(s)
I've got 5 Auto Event Handlers (AEH) set up at the moment. One of them sends me "severity=any, system=any", just so I can verify that traps are being sent. Here's the problem I'm having:
When I select an event category, if I choose any type name (a specific trap), the AEH breaks, and does not send a notification. If I leave the type name as any, it seems to work.
The attachment shows the AEH query that works at the top, the AEH query that does NOT work in the middle, and the email notice including the event name at the bottom.
I know that the middle query breaks, because my 'any-any' query stills sends the notice, but my 'physical drive status' query sends nothing. I have also found that specifying a second email address (in the CC: field) breaks the query as well. Should I be calling Tech Support with this one, or is this an upcoming fix in HPSim4.1?

Re: Automatic Event Handler(s)
OK. At least I got the multiple email addresses working by stringing them all together in the 'To:' field separated only by a comma (no spaces).
Any ideas about selecting a single item within the 'Proliant Storage Events' category?
