Basic HP SIM v5.2 install and config
I've installed RHEL 5 update 1 and SIM v5.2 on an HP DL380 G2 and it's up and running.
I now want to set up all discovered systems to accept the SSL certificate and then be able to distribute ssh keys to any new discovered systems from this point out. I honestly don't know where to start with this. The supporting documentation isn't specific for someone will little to NO knowledge of ssl and ssh keys and trust relationships. Is there another location of documentation or forums that someone could point out?

Re: Basic HP SIM v5.2 install and config
hi
read the following docs on security, it should help you out.
on SSH :
http://h10018.www1.hp.com/wwsolutions/misc/hpsim-helpfiles/hpsim_5_ssh.pdf
on Security ;
http://h10018.www1.hp.com/wwsolutions/misc/hpsim-helpfiles/hpsim_5_Security.pdf
To answer your question:the first time wizard should drive you through this. It is the 6th step out of the total 8.see attached jpeg.
Hope it helps
Fred

Re: Basic HP SIM v5.2 install and config
this helps out tremendously. I'm still having issues understanding if it's possible to push out settings for discovered systems to automatically trust the HP SIM server.
