can't manage CMS itself
I used SIM to manage all of my servers and it works well include CMS itself.
All The events for SIM I can see are sign in and sign out, no other things. also If I use CMS's smh sending a test trap, it also not appear in the sim's events list. anyone have some idea about this? thanks.

Re: can't manage CMS itself
Check the SNMP settings on the HP SIM Server itself.
It needs to have itself as an allowed host, and the trap destination needs to be set. Just like for any remote server.

Re: can't manage CMS itself
Thanks for your response. I just checked the snamp setting on CMS. It allow to receive all snmp packets from any hosts.and the trap destination is set to the hostname itself.
