Cannot manage VCRM from SIM
I cannot manage the VCRM through the SIM console. When I open Options>VCRM it detects the VCRM but says "Trusted? No" and gives the error "Error retrieving repository. Be sure a trust relationship is established with the repository device." I configure a trust relationship using Trust By Certificate>Save but the error is there every time. So I cannot install software and firmware through the SIM.
However, I can access and configure the VCRM through the server's System Homepage with no problem, and can configure Version Control Agents on client machines to connect to the VCRM using Trust By Certificate, download firmware updates, etc. and all is well. It's managing the VCRM from the SIM, installing firmware to client machines from the SIM console that fails on me.
The SIM and VCRM are on the same server. I am using accounts configured with full rights under Users and Authorizations.
I thought this might be a trust problem, but I have run through the trust configuration and imported certificates many times and it never works. I cannot understand why it is failing through the SIM when the System Homepage trusts appear to be working.
Any ideas?

Re: Cannot manage VCRM from SIM
The "fix", if you want to call it that, is to remove the VCRM from your SIM console, then do a manual discovery to add it back. Once it's back, do a software status poll.
Once that is finished, the VCRM should show up as trusted in Options/VCRM.
Let me know if this works for you.

Re: Cannot manage VCRM from SIM
I'm not sure exactly what fixed it because I was trying many different things. But I suspect it was adding the certificate under Options>Security>Trusted Certificates.
VCRM is trusted now.
