Change Node Name in SIM

I understand that SIM derives names from DNS during discovery.

How does one modify the name of a node (or a cluster) after it is discovered?

If you change the name in DNS, then the easiest way is to remove and re-add the new node name.

You might have the flush the DNS cache on the SIM server though, i've had problems with that in the past.

ipconfig /flushdns
nbtstat -R

You can't change the node namne in SIM. The only way is to delete and then add the node again.
