Checking HTTP server status
I'v done around 25 installations from 4.0 to 4.2 SP2, and somtimes when I start SIM for the first time the message Checking HTTP server status appears and stays there.
I have to close the box and start the SIM in IE from antoher pc. Then from this pc it works trough IE, but not from the managemnet server.
Anyone know what to do with this problem?

Re: Checking HTTP server status
i dunno is its related but i had the same problems as you are having, mine was caused by the main site proxy server changing so thr management console hung on the server, once i changed the proxy setting in IE on the SIM server it let me in normally..

Re: Checking HTTP server status
Thanks for the answer, but there is no proxy setting on the server.
