Choosing domain while installing ICM
Insight Control installation does not let me type in a domain for the security credentials, it has drop down box that only populates the domain where the server belongs or no domain for using local account. The same happens for the SQL credentials. The server is in a subdomain where no user accounts are to be ever created for security and organizational reasons.
I tried to work around this by using a local account, but then found that I would have to install SQL locally and that is a no go. Also tried installing standalone ISM and letting the Insight Control suit installation use the credentials already in, but that didn't work because the domain box was grayed out and authentication failed.
We have over 5000 hp servers and need this application installed. I need to be able to type in or choose a domain other than the domain where the server belongs. ISM installation had it OK, ICM don't. The drop down box looks good, but it is not very helpful. I will appreciate any idea on this issue. Thanks.
