CIM 4.2 CPU/Volume threshold
Hi,
I just recently intall CIM 4.2, some tell me how to setup CPU threshold for email notification. Or do i need seprate module to do this task.

It's done from the Server Homepage. In the Performance Section go to Processors.
You should be able to move the Slider bars to the desired levels.
If they cannot be moved you do not have a correctly configured SNMP Read/Write Community name set up.
When the threshold is passed a Critical Alert will be generated. You can then Notify based on this Event or just on generic Critical Events. Notification is done from HPSIM.
Note: CPU alerts seem not to be triggered by spikes but a few iterations need to pass.
If you want more dynamic alerting etc. you should consider the Performance Anaylzer. This comes with some free licenses.
