clustered Hyper-V servers
I am have two Windows Server 2008 machines running Hyper-V and managed by Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM). These two servers have been clustered together and they are both active nodes. First, is this configuration supported in SIM? Second, SIM has misdetected how this is clustered together and because of this it has misdetected the vitual guests on both servers. I wanted to delete the two servers and rediscover, but I can not. I get an error saying: Cannot Delete enclosurees, racks, comllexes or other containers that have systems in them.
Technically the server I am trying to delete isn't detecting any systems within it.
I'm also getting the error "Unable to retrieve the Microsoft Cluster Service Data". I think this is because it is treating the node as the actual cluster.
