Creating Dependencies in SIM 4.2

Hello all!

Is there any way to set up a dependency? For instance, if a router goes down, SIM cannot see the devices on the other side so I end up getting 15 to 20 "unreachable" messages, then 15 to 20 "reachable" message.
Can I set something up in SIM so that if the router goes down, it will NOT email about the devices behind it?

Any help is appreciated!!

This is by design. It lets you know the affected systems.

Too bad. We need to eliminate the sheer number of emails we received in a down situation. We receive our notifications via Blackberry and the BB gets so bogged down when receiving so many emails, that we cannot send out going until the incoming finish.
