Database password

Hi to all !!!! i need to make a new connection to the SIM database, and i wonder is some one knows how to do this ?? is is there a tool to change the database user and password ?the old connection is not working anymore,actually im geting this error "MsSqlVerificationHandler'
com.hp.mx.database.DbVerificationException: Error accessing database".

HPSIM uses "Windows Authentication" for communicating with the database. So no special username and password is required. Have you made any changes to the DSN?

actualli, in our network are some people involved in the Admin role, i mean, some guys take care of DNS, other take care AD... and so on. how changes in the DNS can affect the connection to the DB ?
