default critical disk threshold level

Does anyone know if there is a default value set for the critical disk threshold level of Proliant servers? I never set any of these values on the CMS (version 5 with 7.40 agents) but I received a critical error today for the c: drive of one of my servers for

"Compaq Threshold Agent: Critical Rising Threshold Passed.
SNMP MIB Variable .1.3.6.1.4.1.232.11.2.4.1.1.5.0 has value 40 >= 40.
Severity: Critical
Description: C: [NTFS] disk space.
Refer to the Compaq MIB for a definition of the variable.
[SNMP TRAP: 10007 in CPQTHRSH.MIB]"

I'm guessing the default value is set for 40% but I'm unsure where I can find that out for sure. Again, I never configured anything myself yet.

Thanks

I dont think that a default value was set but you can adjust it or disable it through the systems management homepage (https://servername:2381)
Navigate to TASKS | PERFORMANCE | LOGICAL DISKS You can then slide the thresholds indicators to the desired levels.

Re: default critical disk threshold level

I checked the settings you mentioned and for some reason, the critical level was set for 40% on the file system space used. Strange, because I did not set this myself so it must be a default value.

The other performance tasks for processor, disk usage, page file, etc. are not configured at all. I'm guessing for some reason these aren't set for a default but the critical disk space level is. Strange.

Re: default critical disk threshold level

Jesse,

I'm pretty sure that the defaults are all 0. I've checked most of our servers and they set to 0.
