Re: deploy psp7.2 hung
There's an issue I know about if you deploy an update to a Server with certain types of NIC's (ours were NV7131's).
The install hangs during the NIC Driver update.
I had to reboot the Server, it came up with all NIC attributes lost.
I had to use device manager to delete the device, rediscover it and then re-add IP details.
I would also suggest going to 7.30 rather than 7.20, it's more stable.

It is exactly same issue with me. Do you have a solution?
Thanks

Re: deploy psp7.2 hung
You'll need console access for this.
Record the IP details, address, subnet, gateway etc.
Deploy the PSP.
It will then hang on the NIC Update.
Reboot the Server and then use Device Manager to Remove the NIC device.
Use Add/Remove Hardware to rediscover the device.
Reconfigure the NIC with IP details.
Redeploy the remaining PSP, it should go through as the Driver update will actually have completed.
Tiresome I know, but this process worked for me for the 6 or so Servers I had with this particular combination.

Re: deploy psp7.2 hung
Fortunately, I was not going that bad. I can still log onto the server and reboot the server. After reboot, everything is ok. So What I did is to create a bundle only contain VCA and the management agent, deploy the bundle and update the NIC software from the VCA.
Thanks
