Device not being added to HP SIM database

Hi,

There is a device that I need to monitor w/ HP SIM. I am having trouble getting HP SIM to add it to its database. The device does respond to ping and tracert. Also, if I use the mxgethostname command line, it does resolve properly to the device.

I have tried to add the device manually as well as using the Automatic Discovery. So far, nothing is working.

What could be causing this? More importantly, how do I fix it?

Folks, please disregard. Rebooting the HP SIM server did the trick.
