Discovery issue in SIM

Hi Friends,

I am not able discover some of the clients in SIM since when it try to discover some clients in SIM using Discover a group of system options.
It is saying that
"there are no systems to discover because the ping exclusion range overlaps the ping inclusion range.The ping exclusion range must not include all the same addresess as the ping inclusion range"
but i earlier i was able to discover couple of systems separately but it is creating the problem & due to this i am not able to further configure client at SIM side for webes subscription & all.

One thing when i tried to discover all the systems once again with motto that these 2 -3 systems will also get discovered but it did not happen means discovery process went right but these 2-3 systems still not appearing in systems list.


In context of above problem description Please help.I will be grateful to all of you.

did u check if u have those ip in exclusion range also?
"options->user authorization->edit user" and see exclusion range

For an IP Range provide the inclusion and exclusion ranges so we cannsee the ranges you're using. They'll be internal so you're not giving anything away.
What this seems to be saying is that the exclsuin range is bigger than the inclusion range. So effectively discovery cannot work.
