Discovery Update

Hi,

I have the following issue:
When i setup SIM, i set a large IP range in the discovery settings.

Now i would like to fix more precisely the discovery to my differents server IP range.
So i have modify my settings and run the different task.

But in the search tab or in the "All system" view, i still have device that are not in my differents IP range anymore.

Does i have to purge or do something ?

Not sure I understand exactly what you are asking...but yes, you have to delete those unwanted objects.

Once a device is discovered, it will remain in your SIM inventory until you manually delete it (or perhaps there is a command line tool you could run as well - but I am not familiar with the MX tools).

Simply changing your discovery rules does not affect what has been already dicovered...I believe :)
