DL380 G3 - RAID 5 Problems!
Smart Array 5i in the system.
The system has a raid 5 configuratin.
The Array consisted of 3 - 36gb 10k Rpm drives.
One of the drives failed. Due to a little age on the server we had some difficulty getting a 36gb as a replacement so we put a 72gb in it's place.
The drive is being recognized, and seen properly and with the 72gb size.
It's never been an issue till now to put in a larger drive than what was in the system, and have it rebuild the array.
Problem: The system is not rebuilding the array as it should with the larger drive in place.
Any suggestions? Is this a known issue?
