DL580 VCA problems
I recently loaded a new DL580 with all of the basics, assisted by a smart start CD. After loading Win 2000 Advanced I pulled up the VCA on it from SIM. A side question--are the SmartStart CDs that ship with servers now coming with PSP 7.1? Two items on the software list were not up to date: The Insight Mgmt Agents (were 7.0) and the iLO ROM Flash Update. Upon running a remote install of the iLO update, the insight mgmt agents reported a blue screen trap and the box rebooted itself.
Now the VCA has a "?" and when I try to load it I get a blank browser window with the text "Unable to generate response message". I gave the box a clean reboot, checked that the VCA service was running, and even restarted the service.
Luckily this box isn't production yet, so I can tool around with it if I need to. I've never seen this message before. Any ideas?

Re: DL580 VCA problems
Eh, forget about it. I re-deployed the PSP from the downloadable installer with overwrite existing checked and it fixed things up. Whatever threw and error on that first driver and killed the box probably mucked up the VCA since it most likely never finished the install.
Thanks anyways,
Seth
