does SIM restart send out polling requests

Hi there,

Does restarting SIM service send out polling requests to each element and is this likely to slow network in any way?

We have 1000+ elements and I want to make sure that restarting during the day will not cause network performance issues.

You really should not see any performance issues, I wouldn't think. We only have about a fifth of what you have, but most of ours is over a wide area and I have restarted SIM service many times during the day with no noticeable change in network performance.

YOu should se exact same action it does when it verify if it has machine out there,i make it very every 5 min,performance network is always the same.
