Email Notifications
Hi,
I just installed HP SIM 5.1 and everything seems to be working fine. I am able to set a trap and have the alert emailed. Is there a way to have the email keep being generated until the event is cleared. Sometimes our on call guys need several pages sent to them before they "hear" the pager
I know in the old Insight Manger 7.0 I was able to set the task to run every 10 minutes and emails would keep being sent every 10 minutes until the event was cleared. Thanks in advance for any help that you can provide.

Re: Email Notifications
Create an Automatic event handling task with email & page action for a set of events and systems. When ever an event is recieved, the task triggers and a email/page will be sent to the user

Re: Email Notifications
Hi,
Thank you for your reply.
I do have a task setup and configured to send out email alerts, which is working. I was wondering if there was a way to have the emails/pages continue to keep sending until someone clears the Important Uncleard Event.
In the old version, Insight Manager 7.0 you could configure the task to run to whatever you set it for, for example 5 minutes, 10 minutes.
