Error installing VMM agent on ESX3
Hi,
Having problem when I try to install the VMM agent on 2 different Bl20p G4 with ESX3 with all patches. Im running the agent install local on the machine. When I run the script I get the following output:
No HP Virtual Machine Management Agent has been installed.
Installing VMM Agent
Preparing... ########################################### [100%]
1:hpvmmagent ########################################### [100%]
Starting hpvmmcnt: [ OK ]
checking the port usage.
No port range change is required.
ESX 3.0 is detected.
firewall is detected
Checking if the vmm service has been enabled for firewall.
Enabling the vmm service for firewall.
sed: can't read vmmsrc.xml: No such file or directory
no element found at line 487, column 0, byte 11844 at /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.0/i386-linux-thread-multi/XML/Parser.pm line 185
Check the status of VMM Agent.
hpvmmcnt (pid
21938) is running...
HP Virtual Machine Management Agent installation complete
After I have done this I get an error as soon as I run the esxcfg-firewall command. So I suspect that the /etc/vmware/firewall/services.xml get corrupted due to somethin in the VMM installation. Anyone else that have this problem ?

Re: Error installing VMM agent on ESX3
V2.1 is installed on the SIM-server. And the agent for the ESX-server is named hpvmmagent-4.1.0.1214-esx.i386.
