Error when Deploying Drivers, Firmware and Agents
Hi all
I am pretty new at HP SIM.
I have setup a Repository and gotten SIM to recognize it. Now when I go to deploy -> deploy drivers, firmware and agents -> install software and firmware. I get an error http 503.
So I went to the target system. Tried to set up Version Control Agent and select Version Control Repository Manager. I put in the IP for computer name. administrator as login account. Now I get an error saying administrator should not be used. I clock OK and another error "The VCRM at xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx could not be accessed using the specified account and password."
So I think I have may missed configured the security on the VCRM computer.
What is the correct way to properly configure the SHM or VCRM on that computer?

Re: Error when Deploying Drivers, Firmware and Agents
Try by restarting HPSIM to get rid of 503 error.
All the SMH in your network should trusted to HPSIM server.
To access VCRM from VCA:
In VCRM system, you need to create a operating system user say 'vcuser' and assign this user account to operating system group say 'vcgroup', add this group to VCRM's SMH Settings->System Management Homepage->Security->User Groups.
Now, goto VCA & configure it to VCRM using 'vcuser'.
