Fresh SIM 5.0 Install
Rather than upgrade we have decided to do a fresh install of SIM 5.0
The server will be rebuilt with the same name & IP address as the old server.
Other information to remove would be;
Certificate
Discovery Information
Discovery Filters
E-mail Settings & Tasks
As the clients are configured to report to the IP address they should report successfully into the new server?
Are there any pointers or suggestions that I should be aware off?
Many Thanks...

Re: Fresh SIM 5.0 Install
Neil, You would lose that trust relationship that you have built with the clients. You'll have to re-establish them using the new certificate that gets created when you install HPSIM 5.0
