Re: Hostname mismatch

Right click on the SIM shorcut on the desktop and click on "Edit" to edit the CheckSvc.js file. At the bottom of the file is the server name, change it from localhost to the FQDN of the server. That will take care of that for good.

Re: Hostname mismatch

Hello

If the name in the certificate does not match the name in the browser, you may get this warning. This can be resolved by browsing using the systemâ s name as it appears in the certificate.

Re: Hostname mismatch

When HP SIM is installed it creates a self-signed certificate using the fully-qualified domain name (FQDN). If you prefer to use the simple name, go to Options --> Security --> Certificates --> Server Certificate and create a new certificate. The "Common Name" field will contain the FQDN. Edit that field to make it equal to the simple name. Please note that if you have certificate trust enabled with the agents, you will have to re-distribute the certificate to the agents.
