How can i integrate the server temperature ?
Hi,
everything is working great, except the temperature of the servers.
I read that it´s possibel to integrate it by installing the hp management driver.
Everything is up to date with the newest support pack.
The operating system is win 2003.
Has anyone an idea or experiences in implementing the temperature?
Nice day
Mathi

Re: How can i integrate the server temperature ?
What do you mean by implementing the temperature? If you have the ProLiant Support Pack installed, you have everything you need--specifically the Advanced Systems Management Controller driver (which talks to the environmental sensors) and the management agents, the so-called "Systems Management Home Page."
Please note however, that if you are interested in retrieving and making sense of individual temperature settings, those are individual per ProLiant model and CPU and are going to be based on the location of the sensor. In other words, the thresholds are pre-set; looking for a temperature that exceeds 60C is meaningless because it will vary for each server.
