HP SIM 4.2 upgrade/ migrate msde to a sql server version
Hi,
We are running a msde version locally on the HPSIM server. We want to upgrade to a SQL server version , also locally due to expansion of the environment to be managed.
Is it possible to migrate the msde database to the sql server database ? If yes how can we manage this ? Are there white/tech papers available ? I cannot find anything in the manuals.
Thx
Patrick

Similarly, what if one wanted to move from MSDE to SQL on a separate server? Where in SIM do you configure what DB to connect to and what name/password to use to do so?
