HP SIM and ESX4i
We have ESX4i hosts that are bing monitored by the HP SIM 5.3 sp1. On few of the host I can see the guest machine which running on it but on few host I dont see anything. Is there something that I can run on each guest server so the SIM will be able to identify it to its host? The guest server are bein identified as a VM guests and snmp is running on it.

Re: HP SIM and ESX4i
With ESXi you need to get WBEM working with the host server in order to discover the guests via the host.
I've had mixed results so far.
You will need to ensure you have wbem credentials entered, either server specific or global.
Or you could try and use snmp or wbem on all of the guests.
