I dont know about anyone else, but I would like to have my monitored devices (servers & storage) warranty and carepaq information managed by HP SIM.
I can see a real benefit of having proactive reporting (alerting?) when the service level changes (i.e. - Onsite to Parts Only) or when the warranty is due to expire.
This would allow for better scheduling of hardware replacements/etc.
I know the warranty lookup tool is available online, but it really is a reactive tool. It is good for one off lookups, but it does not allow for notifications.
If there is an official customer enhancement request form (or web site), please let me know.
Kind Regards
Martin

Re: HP SIM - Enhancement Request?
Thanks for your reply David.
I thought that it might have been put on the list already.
Can you give any indication how high up the list it currently resides?
Cheers
Martin

Re: HP SIM - Enhancement Request?
It's highly desired. That being said, there are some infrastructure obstacles in the way, so it is not slotted into a release yet.
