HP SIM - error sending emails

Hi Guys,

Hopefully someone can give me an answer on this:

I have installed HP Systems Insight Manager 5 on a server. I've configured all the settings and user accounts, and set up email notification.
However, none of my traps result in emails being sent.
Instead, I get the following error when viewing the task result:

Sending failed. Could not connect to SMTP host: Server_Name, port: 25. java.net.SocketException: Software caused connection abort: connect. Check E-mail settings.

I have checked all the settings, both in Exchange and the server, and they're correct. I have verified that the user account can send and receive emails.

Hi Craig,

Can you check whether the port 25 is in use by any other application. And try sending test email to the SNMP server.
