HP SIM Locking out account
Dear all,
I have a strange phenomenon with one server.
The HP SIM service account is being locked out whenever the SIM server makes the following requests to the HPSMH on one particular server:
192.168.22.11 - - [04/Nov/2008:03:06:28 +0000] "GET /Proxy/XEStatusReport HTTP/1.1" 404 218
192.168.22.11 - - [04/Nov/2008:03:06:28 +0000] "GET /Proxy/XEStatusReport HTTP/1.1" 200 1408
192.168.22.11 - - [04/Nov/2008:03:06:33 +0000] "GET /Proxy/GetKey HTTP/1.1" 200 10
192.168.22.11 - - [04/Nov/2008:03:06:33 +0000] "GET Proxy/STE?TKN=35595f5[snipped]&KEY=1225767993&XE=sv-SIM14.corpdom.local&UN=sv-SIM14\\IM7_SYSTEM_TEST_REQUEST&UA=2&URL=https://svweb98.corpdom.local:2381/ HTTP/1.1" 200 5089
The timings in svweb98's smh.log exactly match the time the account was locked out, but I can't find out where server svweb98 would be storing the incorrect password. The SIM server (SV-SIM14) doesn't seem to have any problems with any other servers - the lockout always happens after a logon type 3 from web98.
Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Adam
