HP SIM v5.3 with SP1 with SQL Server 2008 Express?
The documentation for HP SIM v5.3 with SP1 states that either SQL Server 2005 Express or SQL Server 2008 is used.
Is it an ommission that SQL Server 2008 Express is not mentioned? Or is the 2008 Express version incompatible with HP SIM v5.3 with SP1? If the latter is the case, can someone explain to me as to why this 2008 Express version cannot be used?
Thanks in advance.

I think they missed that in documentation. However you can use 2008 Express with out any problem.

Yep - That's what we're using. But something (possibly WEBES) installed SQL 2005 Express as well.

Re: HP SIM v5.3 with SP1 with SQL Server 2008 Express?
I can confirm now myself that SQL Server 2008 Express 64-bit installed without a flaw and HP SIM v5.3 with SP1 (a 32-bit application) installed succesfully and uses SQL Server 2008 Express 64-bit.
