HP SIM

Hi,

I was trying to install HP SIM Version 4.01 on HPUX 11.11 server and i was getting the following error.

7. Task Results Output Cleanup
- Successful
8. Database Configuration
HP Systems Insight Manager shutting down: Lost connection to database. Connectio
n refused. Check that the hostname and port are correct and that the postmaster
is accepting TCP/IP connections. for db loaded from database.props

Any hints.

Hi

check the /etc/hosts file, whether the machine(host)name is same as output of the command "hostname"
