HP System management server
In our environmnet we are having nearly 8 thousands server , we have configure alerts from sim in the form of mails , in this we are getting for both servers and ILO .
We need to prevent alerts for ILO interface from HP SIM , Kindly suggest how to do this

The ILO itself can be configured to send alerts for itself and also pass thru the server alerts. That's an ILO configuration.
HPSIM will poll these devices juat like any other device and will report if they're not there. If you wanted that behaviour stopped you would need to exclude those from the discovery range and delete them from HPSIM.

I am not sure if this works but maybe you could change the system collection from "All Systems" to "All Servers" in the Automatic Event Handling Tasks, and then the events from ILOs might be excluded.
