This is probably for David Claypool.
I've seen mention of HPSIM 4.1 in various posts with various dates when we might see it.
Is there a date?
Are there any notes as to what features and changes it will incorporate.
Is there a new version of PPA to tie in with this release so that will appear as it does in CIM 7?
Will there be equivalents (or are there now) of the Technical Guide, and other papers produced for CIM 7. A personal favourite was the "Creating Custom Reports" White Paper?
What I would like:
A better way of setting up OpenSSH for Users added into HPSIM that need to run Custom Tasks. At the moment you need to add these into OPenSSH yourself.

Solution
4.1 is the release that will also deliver the Data Migration Tool. Other than that, don't expect to see new features. This mostly is a "maintenance release" to correct a few of the warts so colorfully depicted in this forum. :) Look for it in mid-April.
The Peformance Management Pack will be able to be incorporated into hpSIM with that release as well.
...also don't confuse 4.1 with 4.00.01 which is a Linux-only release of the current code base (should be available end of Feb).
White paper development is an ongoing task and isn't tied to software release dates. Look for stuff to trickle out for the rest of the year.
Some of the heartaches around OpenSSH are being looked at hard but I can't comment on specific plans.

Re: HPSIM 4.1 Availability Query
Thanks for the update David.
I'll keep an eye for documentation updates. After all - "When all else fails - read the instructions" holds pretty true!
