hpsim domain issue

i have installed hpsim with workgroup and its working fine and can access wit hthe ip and port from any where on the network.
previouly i join the domain and hpsim no longer to access neither its opening on the machine.
Now i want to join the domain and again i am worried that hpsim will no longer work again and reinstallation will be done.
so whts the safe way to do this that hpsim will keep working still with domain setting also.
kindly any one help me in this issue
