HPSIM Event Alerting

Anyone know why disabling/enabling a managed task (which sends out alerts), would send out week old alerts on enabling?

This happened to me today for the 1st time, I need to know to circumvent this happening again.

If you are running SIM 4.1 there is a customer advisory and a patch for that problem. go to

http;//www.hp.com --> support and drivers and search for ES040930_CW01.

The fix should already be included in SIM 4.2
